National Remembrance Sunday Parade - Whitehall 2017

The Yorkshire Regiment Association will once again take part in the annual National Remembrance and Cenotaph Parade in Whitehall, London. 

If you wish to be one of the select few, please contact Maj Pat Ralph ASAP. The Association's deadline to submit our consolidated application is 1 July 2017 and ticket allocation will be confirmed by the end of July 2017.

The British Legion's National Events Team would like to point out that Association members need to be aware that they are likely to be standing in Whitehall for at least 1.5 hours prior to the March Past, then marching for a distance of over 1 mile, possibly in inclement weather.

Participants who require a carer, please ensure you provide these details on application. Carers will be able to access Horse Guards Parade but they will NOT be entitled to march. If participants who are in wheelchairs, a comrade (i.e. another Association member who has been allocated a ticket) will be there to assist during the march.

Particpants eligible are listed below, select as appropriate:
Cat 1 Ex-Service Personnel holding a campaign medal 
Cat 2 Civilians deployed on operations in support of the Military (Includes; Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Civil Servants)
Cat 3 Ex-Service Personnel with no campaign medal
Cat 4 Bereaved Spouses (who died on operations) 
Cat 5 Veteran association representatives
Cat 6 Military Charities and associated Civilian Groups
