2 YORKS 'Cycling Home' for Christmas

Corunna Company is 'cycling home for Christmas' for ABF The Soldiers' Charity

Corunna Company, 2nd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment, has been supporting operations in Kabul, Afghanistan, for the last four months.  Thankfully, they will soon be 'coming home for Christmas' to spend some well-deserved time with their friends and families.

To mark their return, Yorkshire's Warriors are going to 'cycle' the 3586 miles from Kabul to their home base in Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, on static exercise bikes over a two-day period.  The team of 32 soldiers will each complete around 113 miles each - in addition to their operational commitments in Kabul.

They have chosen to support ABF The Soldiers' Charity as they provide a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and families who find themselves in genuine need.

As we approach the Season of Goodwill, please help the men and women of Corunna Company to achieve their goal - £1 for each mile of their journey - and help to make a genuine difference to those in need.  Fortune Favours the Brave.
