Job Opportunities in the York Army Museum

The York Army Museum on Tower Street in York is looking for five new members of part-time staff.

There are 2 Collections Assistant posts, each of which are for 21 hours per week [equivalent to 3 days]

There are 3 Saturday Museum Assistant posts, each which are each for 7 hours per week [9.30-5.30 plus an hour’s unpaid lunch break].

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated individual who will give a warm welcome and deliver excellent service to our visitors.

York Army Museum is a small museum, housing the collections and archives of the Royal Dragoon Guards, The Prince of Wales’s Own Regiment of Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Regiment.

This is a temporary part-time post from the week commencing 15 November 2021 to 31 March 2022. £9 per hour, 21 hours per week. This post includes regular weekend working.

The deadline for applications is Monday 12 December, with interviews held week commencing Monday 9th January 2023.
